Durang Me

“…two of Durang’s one act plays, The Actor’s Nightmare (directed by Gabriel Ross) & Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You (directed by Daunielle Rasmussen) are performed with humor and glee. … Reinholdt was flawless as Diane. Her performance was nothing short of amazing.

Eleanor Mason Reinholdt gave a great performance as Sarah.”

“Durang creates multiple short vignettes of partial plays-within-plays that will keep you guessing which show he is lampooning. The ones that I remember (and the list is deficient) are a few by Beckett (Waiting For Godot, Happy Days, Krapp’s Last Tape(?), “Private Lives”, Hamlet, Kiss Me Kate, and loses his head in A Man for All Seasons etc. This requires split second timing that is lacking in some of the scenes but all the cast members have their turn to shine, especially the women. (Claire Slattery, Eleanor Mason Reinholdt, and AJ Davenport).”
