Originally hailing from the East Coast, Eleanor has lived in the city of San Francisco longer than anywhere else and is proud to call it home. She trained in performance (among other things) at Occidental College in Los Angeles and began performing in the Bay Area theatre scene in 1998. After appearing in many productions around the Bay Area, she took a hiatus in 2001, returning to the stage in the summer of 2006…and hasn’t left since. Over the past five years, Eleanor has been continuing to perform around the Bay Area as well as delve into additional training (Shakespeare & Company, SITI Company, and Studio A.C.T.) and is really looking forward to what’s next.
When not on stage, Eleanor makes her way in the world as a User Experience Designer and has worked in the tech industry since the days before words like “blogging” and “tweeting” were a part of the general public lexicon. She shares a home in the city with husband (Richard Reinholdt) and two very spoiled cats. When not in rehearsal she likes to read Design*Sponge Sneak Peeks, and then rearrange her furniture while enjoying a nice glass of red wine.
